CARBON 14 ANYONE?

Carbon-14, a method for determining the age of fossils and artifacts, etc., began being used in the late 1940's. It quickly became a source of embarrassment for evolutionists by exposing the fallacy of their conclusions that certain fossils, bones and other organic materials were millions and millions of years old, when in fact, they were only thousands, if not hundreds, if not less, years old. New and improved methods of dating continue to debunk and disappoint the wish-it-were-so speculations of evolutionists practicing "science falsely so called" (1 Tim. 6:20), and not letting facts get in their way.  As John Adams (1735-1826) said, “Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passions, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence.”

The truth about anything must date in its essence all the way back to the mind of God as it is expressed in His Word. Much so-called truth simply isn't old enough to be legitimate. To be true, an idea or proposition must meet the fundamental, essential, indispensable test of conformity to God's Word, which is the ultimate "Carbon-14" test of truth.In addition Truth should also be subjected to (1) the test of common sense operating at the level of spiritual discernment (Ps. 12:6; 119:7; Isa. 8:20; Heb. 5:14; 1 John 4:10), and (2) to the test of history. Many of the ideas and propositions now being served up for popular consumption have a terrible track record; they haven't "aged" well. This can be applied to the false claims made as to the benefits socialism brings to a country and to the false claims made made as to the benefits that worldliness brings to a church, neither of which pass the test of either the Word of God, history or common sense.

It is truth that sets us free. It's truth that sets us up so that we can live life well and leave it well. God has given us all the truth we'll ever need in His Word. He intends for us to know it, and we can know it.
