LAST NIGHT’S LOOK AT THE LEFT

Last night’s televised Presidential address to a joint session of Congress couldn’t have provided a clearer, more informed look at what the Democrat Party has devolved into than it did. If you haven’t watched it, you should.

THE DEMOCRATS WERE DARKLY COMEDIC as they played the role so naturally and perfectly of a bunch of mean-spirited, angry, nasty-acting overgrown brats who aren’t getting their way. Words such as “morons,” “idiots,” and “clowns” come to mind, but I won’t use them because it wouldn’t be fair, (1) to people who legitimately, and through no fault of their own, belong to one of these categories of mental dysfunction, or (2) to any professional clown.

Democrats made public their intention to come prepared to disrupt the President’s speech. They were off to a good start with catcalls and noisemakers until one of the worst of them was summarily escorted out of the room. After this, the rest of the angry-faced mob pretty much behaved themselves—because they had to. Their antics have been described by the media (the mainstream media excepted) as a “clown show.” Again, apologies to circus clowns and rodeo clowns, etc.

DEMOCRATS LAST NIGHT WERE FRIGHTENING. They presented a horror show featuring how truly soulless and heartless they are and can be. They demonstrated how bitterly unchristian and unAmerica they truly are; that they are people “who hate the good and love the evil” (Micah 3:2). It is frightening, that our nation has degenerated to a place where men and women this vile and vicious can be in positions of political power that enable their wickedness (Prov. 29:2).

Democrats were united last night in demonstrating their contempt for the President and for the American people, the vast  majority of whom, with full knowledge’s of his polices, voted Donald Trump into office to enact those policies. Democrats refused last night to show any sign of support or sympathy for anything supported by the President, the Republican Party or   majority of Americans. They refused as a body to applaud, stand or even smile when the successes of the President and his administration were announced involving the border crisis, the economy and ending the war in Ukraine were announced.

Democrats refused as a body to applaud, stand or even smile in support of parents present whose children have been murdered by illegal immigrants, or of a 15 year old survivor of brain cancer whom President Trump made an honorary member of the Secret Service. They refused as a body to applaud, stand or even smile when it was announced by the President that a high school senior present, whose police officer father was murdered in the line of duty, had been accepted to West Point. These were the same Democrats who, the previous day, had voted unanimously against a bill to exclude men from participation in women’s sports.

Democrats don’t do what they do because they suffer from “Trump Derangement Syndrome.” They believe what they do and behave like they do because they are deranged. They are suffering from sin induced brain rot. They are like a person who has embraced, and as a consequence has been embraced himself, by a giant python. Democrats have embraced, and consequently been embraced by,  “that old serpent, which is the devil” (Rev. 20:2). They have embraced, and been embraced by, that which is clearly satanic in nature. This explains what goes on in their minds, what comes out of their mouths and how they act.

Americans need to understand that just as the drug cartels and communist China are recognized as the “worst of the worst” of our foreign enemies, the democrats in congress are the “worst of the worst” of our domestic enemies. Christians need to love democrats and pray that they will come to “repentance  toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts  20:21). They are, like all of us, soul for whom Christ died—none of whom are beyond the reach of God’s grace.

In the meantime, our God “is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think” (Eph. 3:20). Perhaps, in His mercy and grace, He will make the Democratic Party as obsolete as an expired coupon, and a stench in the nostrils of every American.
